  • Age-appropriate recreational camp programming

I understand that activities may change due to weather, air quality, safety concerns, group needs, or site availability.

2. Outdoor & Activity Risk Acknowledgement

I understand that camp activities involve normal and inherent risks associated with outdoor and recreational programming. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Trips, slips, or falls

  • Minor bumps, scrapes, bruises, or cuts

I understand that Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are generally based at Emmanuel Church in West Kelowna, and that Wednesdays are planned as West Kelowna Adventure Days at an offsite location.

I understand that parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the scheduled daily location.

6. Behaviour & Safety Agreement

I understand that Okanagan Kids Collective uses a relationship-first, supportive approach to behaviour guidance.

I understand that my child is expected to follow staff safety instructions and participate in a way that supports the physical and emotional safety of the group.

If my child’s behaviour creates an ongoing safety concern for themselves, other campers, or staff, I understand that parents/guardians will be contacted.

If safety cannot be maintained, I understand that Okanagan Kids Collective reserves the right to end my child’s participation in camp.

I understand that refunds will not be issued if a child is dismissed due to ongoing unsafe behaviour.

7. Camp Shirt Consent

I understand that my child is required to wear their OKC camp shirt each day for safety and identification purposes.

One OKC camp shirt is included with full-week registration.

If my child forgets their shirt, or attends as a single-day camper, they may be provided with a clean loaner shirt to wear during camp hours.

Loaner shirts must be returned at pick-up.

8. Photo & Video Consent

I give permission for Okanagan Kids Collective to take and use photos or short videos of my child for camp-related purposes, including parent updates, website content, social media, and promotional materials.
