About OKC
Single Day Passes
Pricing
Logistics and Safety
We focus on connection over constant activity.
Instead of packed schedules, our days are intentionally designed with space to explore, build friendships, and feel at ease.
This means:
smaller groups
slower pace
more meaningful experiences
Our camp is designed for children ages 6–11.
We keep our groups small and developmentally aligned so each child feels comfortable, included, and supported.
We maintain a low ratio (approximately 1:10–12) to ensure every child:
feels seen
receives support
has space to connect
Your kids will be led by Judson Luciak. A teacher with SD23.
Yes, single-day passes may be available where space allows.
Single-day passes are limited, pre-registered only, and are not same-day drop-in spaces. Full-week registrations receive priority.
During registration, families can indicate which specific days they are interested in if single-day passes become available. If space remains, we will follow up with families and confirm single-day spots directly.
Payment for single-day passes is not due unless a spot is confirmed with your family.
Single-day pricing:
Regular day: $85/day
With extended care: $100/day
See our Single Day Pass FAQ section for more info.
Sibling Friendly Weeks are designed for families who would love their elementary-aged children to attend together, even if they span a wider age range.
Because these weeks include children entering Grades 1–5, they may not be the best fit for every camper.
If your child is more comfortable with same-age peers, finds mixed-age groups overwhelming, or benefits from activities designed for a narrower developmental stage, we recommend choosing one of our Grades 1–3 or Grades 4–5 weeks instead.
Our goal is to help every child feel successful, included, and ready to participate, and choosing the right week is an important part of that.
Currently we only offer full-day programming.
Your child’s spot is confirmed once both the registration form and payment have been received.
Payment is sent by e-transfer to:
okgnkidscollective@gmail.com
Please include your child’s full name in the e-transfer message.
Because camp spaces are limited, submitting a registration form does not hold or guarantee a spot without payment.

We take a relationship-first approach.
This means:
guiding instead of punishing
helping kids understand emotions
teaching problem-solving skills
Both—but intentionally balanced.
We provide:
gentle structure for security
open space for creativity and independence
This creates an environment where kids can feel safe AND free.
Yes. Extended care is available for an additional $75 per week.
Extended care includes:
Early drop-off: 8:00 AM
Extended pick-up: until 4:00 PM
Regular camp drop-off is 8:30–9:00 AM, and regular pick-up is 2:30 PM
No. For safety, planning, and insurance purposes, we do not accept same-day drop-ins.
All children must be pre-registered with completed emergency contacts, medical information, waivers, and payment before attending camp.

We are not building an overpacked schedule. Our goal is to create days that feel full, fun, and meaningful while still giving kids space to breathe.
Wednesdays are planned as our West Kelowna Adventure Day.
Depending on the week, this may include a nature walk, outdoor exploration, gathering observations around a theme, reflective activities, or water play at a local splash pad or water park.
Families will receive Wednesday location details in advance, including where to drop off and pick up.
Emmanuel Church remains our preferred backup location if weather, smoke, safety, or another concern requires us to pivot, depending on availability.
Yes.
There will still be drop-off and pick-up on Wednesdays. It will just happen at that day’s planned West Kelowna Adventure Day location rather than at Emmanuel Church.
Families will always receive location details ahead of time.
Yes. All campers must be fully toilet trained and able to use the bathroom independently.
Because OKC is a small-group day camp with one primary camp leader supervising the full group, we are not able to provide toileting support, change children after bathroom accidents, or step away from the group for extended one-on-one care.
If a camper has a bathroom accident during the day, a parent or guardian will be contacted and asked to come support their child as needed.
We understand that accidents can happen, especially with younger campers, but families should only register if their child is consistently independent with bathroom use and able to manage toileting needs on their own.
For younger campers entering Grades 1–2, please carefully consider bathroom independence before registering. Campers must be able to recognize when they need to go, communicate with the leader, and use the bathroom independently.
Campers should bring:
Backpack
Lunch
Snacks
Water bottle
Hat
Sunscreen
Comfortable shoes
Weather-appropriate clothing
Change of clothes
Any required medication or emergency medication
Swimsuit, towel, or water shoes when requested
OKC camp shirt
Please label all belongings.
Yes. All campers must wear their OKC camp shirt each day for safety and identification purposes.
One camp shirt is included with full-week registration.
If a camper forgets their shirt, they may be provided with a clean loaner shirt to wear during camp hours. Loaner shirts must be returned at pick-up.
Single-day campers may be provided with a loaner shirt for the day. Loaner shirts must be returned at pick-up.
Families are encouraged to share any information that may help us support their child well.
This may include social needs, sensory needs, emotional regulation needs, anxiety, attention or focus needs, communication needs, triggers, helpful strategies, or previous camp/school experiences.
OKC is relationship-first and supportive, but we are not a clinical, therapeutic, or one-on-one support program.
Because the camp is small and led by one primary leader, OKC may not be the right fit for children who require continuous one-on-one support, personal care support, toileting support, frequent removal from the group, or intensive behavioural support.
If you are unsure whether OKC will be a good fit for your child, please reach out before registering.
OKC uses a relationship-first approach. Our goal is to support campers with clear expectations, calm guidance, and opportunities to reset.
Campers are expected to:
Follow leader instructions
Stay within boundaries
Keep hands and bodies safe
Use respectful language
Participate safely
Respect other campers
Respect property and supplies
Come to the OKC flag when the whistle is blown
If a camper is having a difficult time, the camp leader may offer reminders, support the child with a reset, provide choices, adjust the activity, or contact parents if needed.
If behaviour becomes ongoing, unsafe, disruptive, or prevents the child or group from participating safely, parents may be contacted.
If a camper’s behaviour creates a serious or repeated safety concern and OKC is not able to safely support the child or other campers within the camp setting, the family will be asked to pick up the child early or withdraw from camp.
No refunds will be issued if a child is dismissed due to unsafe behaviour.
Okanagan Kids Collective is not being marketed as a Christian camp, and our programming is not being built around Christian teaching or faith-based instruction.
Our home base is Emmanuel Church, but OKC is an independent summer camp program focused on outdoor play, creativity, connection, small groups, and thoughtful leadership.
That said, Judson and Rebecca are both Christian, and our personal values naturally shape the way we lead, with care, kindness, patience, safety, and a desire for kids to feel known and included.
Although Okanagan Kids Collective rents and runs many of our camp days out of Emmanuel Church, OKC is independently organized and operated.
Emmanuel Church is our camp home base and rental location, but Okanagan Kids Collective is not affiliated with, managed by, or officially operated by Emmanuel Church.
OKC is responsible for our own registration, programming, staffing, policies, communication, and camp operations.
